CIDR & Subnet Calculator
CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing) writes an IP address and its network size together, like 192.168.1.10/24. Enter one to see the network and broadcast addresses, subnet mask, and the first and last usable host — useful for subnetting, firewall rules and VPC planning.
What does the /number mean?
The prefix length is how many leading bits belong to the network. /24 leaves 8 bits for hosts (254 usable on IPv4), /16 leaves 16 (65,534 usable), and /32 is a single address. This tool does the binary math so you do not have to convert by hand.
